Upcoming Programs
The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Austin Chapter is partnering with the Austin Construction Industry to offer female students entering grades 6-9, and return campers, a unique week-long, hands-on, FREE construction-oriented summer day camp. Students will learn the basics of carpentry, electrical, plumbing and team building – just to name a few.
Women from multiple facets of the construction industry will team up with skilled instructors to safely teach the students their unique skills or trade. By the end of the week each camper will have several projects to take home and show off what they have learned.
