NAWIC Camper Application

Camp NAWIC is a FREE national program offered by the National Association of Women in Construction. It is an engaging week-long camp for female students entering 6th-9th grades who are curious about career opportunities in construction.

Continental breakfast, snacks and lunch will be provided daily.
*Early drop off (7:30 AM) and late pick up (5:00 PM) available for $10/per student per day.

Return campers from any year (7th – 12th grade) are encouraged to apply here for the enhanced curriculum, skills and activities.

ATTENDANCE

Daily attendance at our Free Construction Summer Camp is Mandatory every day from 9AM – 4PM to successfully receive your completion certificate and receive your graduation tools. This program, provided by our generous sponsors, offers valuable hands-on experience and the opportunity to gain essential skills for your future.

DISCLAIMER AND SIGNATURE

I give permission for my camper named above to participate in all Camp NAWIC activities scheduled for July 20–24, 2026, including hands-on construction activities and scheduled field trips on Tuesday, July 21, and Wednesday, July 22. I understand that participation involves physical activity and inherent risks and voluntarily assume all such risks on behalf of my camper. I certify that my camper has personal insurance coverage in effect prior to participation. I understand and agree that appropriate construction attire is required at all times, including jeans or long pants, close-toed shoes or boots, and securing long hair. I acknowledge that camp directors will make reasonable efforts to provide a safe and educational camp environment; however, I hereby release and hold harmless the camp directors, the Southern Regional Council of Carpenters, Austin Local 1266, the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), Austin Chapter of National Association of Women in Construction, the camp’s sponsoring organizations, company sponsors, hosts, affiliates, officers, agents, and representatives from any and all claims or liability for physical injury that may occur during participation, including transportation and field trips. I further grant NAWIC, its chapters, affiliates, and the camp’s company sponsors the irrevocable right and permission to use my camper’s name, image, likeness, photograph, voice, and/or video recording, in any medium, for press releases and for promotional, educational, safety, workforce development, recruitment, retention, or other positive industry-related purposes, without inspection or approval, and I waive any claims related to such use. I represent that I am the parent or legal guardian of the camper, that I am a legal adult with full authority to execute this agreement on the camper’s behalf, and that I have read and fully understand this release and voluntarily agree to be bound by its terms.

I understand Camp NAWIC is an opportunity for me to learn the basics of multiple construction trades.
